In this lesson, students begin drafting their narratives, learning to craft an introduction that engages and orients the reader to their narrative. Students begin by examining the introductions of the two narrative models in Lessons 1 and 2 and discussing the components that make these introductions effective. Students then work individually to draft introductions for their own narratives.
