Description
Lesson 26 introduced students to the tangent of 𝜃 as the ratio of the length of the opposite side to the length of the adjacent side. In Lesson 29, students use tan 𝜃 in two different contexts: (1) the value of the ratio as it has to do with slope and (2) its use in solving real-world problems involving angles of elevation and depression.
