Solving Basic One-Variable Quadratic Equations


Description

Up to this point, students have practiced factoring and using the zero product property to solve basic quadratic equations using area models. In this lesson, we expand our contextual applications to include problems involving objects in motion. We continue to explore efficient and elegant ways to solve quadratic equations by factoring.
