Description
In lesson 4 students Interpret and represent patterns when multiplying by 10, 100, and 1,000 in arrays and numerically. Students examine multiplication patterns when multiplying by 10, 100, and 1,000. Reasoning between arrays and written numerical work allows students to see the role of place value units in multiplication.
