Modeling an Invasive Species Population


Description

The lionfish is an invasive species that began appearing in the western Atlantic Ocean in 1985 and now has large populations throughout the Caribbean as well as along the eastern coastline of the United States. Lionfish have recently been spotted as far north as New York and Rhode Island.
