Graphs Can Solve Equations Too


Description

Students discover that multi-step exact way of solving |2x-5|=|3x+1| using algebra can sometimes be avoided by recognizing that an equation; f(x)=g(x) can be solved visually by looking for the intersection points of the graphs of y = f(x) and y = g(x).
