Description
The purpose for this text set is to get students thinking about how and why people build houses. The texts and multimedia resources expose students to some of the science and design aspects that go into building a house. The set also explores different homes around the world, the structure of a house, and how the location of a home might impact how it is built. Lastly, the set begins to touch on the social and environmental aspects of home building.
