Matrix Arithmetic in its Own Right

Description

This lesson builds on the work in the previous lesson by considering a transportation network with two different types of public transportation. This situation is used to help students discover and define multiplication of two matrices (N-VM.C.8). Students understand the meaning of this matrix arithmetic. They begin to discover that matrix multiplication is not commutative.
