Description
This is the first of a two-day lesson where students use their knowledge of 2 × 2 matrices and their transformations to program video game motion. Lesson 22 focuses on straight-line motion. In Lesson 23, students extend that motion to include rotations. In programming, students multiply matrices and vectors (N-VM.C.11) and use matrices to perform transformations in the plane (N-VM.C.12).
