Construct an Equilateral Triangle


Description

This lesson begins with a brief Opening Exercise, which requires peer-to-peer conversation and attention to vocabulary. Ensure students understand that, even though the vocabulary terms may be familiar, they should pay careful attention to the precision of each definition. For students to develop logical reasoning in geometry, they have to manipulate very exact language, beginning with definitions. Students explore various phrasings of definitions.
