lesson 3
1 hour

Rational Exponents-What are 2^(1/2) and 2^(1/3)?

Description

The lesson begins with students creating a graph of a simple exponential function, which they studied in Module 3 of Algebra I. In that module, students also learned about geometric sequences and their relationship to exponential functions, which is a concept that is revisited at the end of this module. In Algebra I, students worked with exponential functions with integer domains.
