Description
The lesson starts with students looking for patterns in a table to make conjectures about the formulas for sin(𝛼 + 𝛽) and cos(𝛼 + 𝛽). From these formulas, students can quickly deduce the formulas for sin(𝛼 − 𝛽) and cos(𝛼 − 𝛽). The teacher gives proofs of important formulas, and then students prove some simple trigonometric identities.
