Students complete their reading of Sugar Changed the World and collaborate in groups to trace the authors’ development of a central claim in “Satyagraha,” which details Gandhi’s non-violent approach to protesting unethical labor practices. Students complete the Unfolding Analysis Tool which prompts them to make connections between the claims developed in “Satyagraha” and the claims developed in other sections of Sugar Changed the World.
