Students will be able to find the gist of Paragraphs 2 and 3 of “Refugee and Immigrant Children: A Comparison.” They will analyze how specific words, phrases, and sentences help me understand what refugee and immigrant children need for successful adaptation. They will also read a text closely in order to answer text-dependent questions.
