Description
This lesson builds on learning that students began in Unit 2, Lesson 17, when they started planning their research-based two-voice poem. As students work on their two-voice poems across the next few lessons, encourage them to refer to their Reader’s Notes and glossaries for rich vocabulary to incorporate. Emphasize how much knowledge they have learned about this time and place in history.
