Students begin End of Unit Assessment, Part I: Reading and Answering Questions about Characters and Theme.
Remind them of the importance of rereading the text to find evidence to support their answers. Point out that there are directions on the assessment indicating which pages of the chapter they should reread for answering certain questions.
