End-of-Unit-Assessment

Description

For this assessment, students plan and write an informative piece about the puffer fish. They will use the texts read for the Mid-Unit 2 Assessment as well as the notes taken during that assessment. Since students are already familiar with the texts, a large part of their focus can rest on planning and writing. With this added emphasis on writing time, it’s possible that your assessment of students’ progress toward mastering the Writing Standards addressed by this assessment will be more accurate.
