Description
In this lesson, students analyze and discuss pages 188–201 of The Namesake, in which Gogol ends his relationship with Maxine and becomes interested in Moushumi. In a written response at the beginning of the lesson, students analyze why Gogol is attracted to Moushumi. This response informs students’ participation in a whole-class discussion that follows.
