Description
In this final lesson of the unit, the End-of-Unit Assessment, students craft a formal, multi-paragraph response to the following prompt: What does Thoreau mean by “a better government”? Students review their annotated texts, lesson Quick Writes, and discussion notes to organize their ideas. Students then develop their responses using relevant and sufficient evidence to support their claims.
