In this lesson, students read and analyze paragraphs 17–24, continuing their examination of how central ideas interact and build on one another throughout the text by making connections between ideas in this lesson’s text and the ideas discussed in the previous lesson. Students also discuss how Silko uses a variety of techniques to sequence events.

Bilingual Language Progressions
