Use of Rhetoric


In this lesson, students work in their presentation groups to discuss Alexander’s use of rhetoric in their assigned chapters of The New Jim Crow. Students answer focus questions in their presentation groups to attempt to reach consensus about the efficacy of Alexander’s use of rhetoric.
