Description
In this lesson, students read and analyze another excerpt from The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, in which Skloot further surfaces ideas and events related to the story of Henrietta Lacks and her “contribution” to human tissue research. Students analyze the text through reading and evidence-based discussions, with specific attention paid to how Skloot unfolds the series of events and ideas by using a Tracking Events and Ideas Tool.
