Description
In this lesson, students examine an excerpt that introduces the story of John Moore, whose cells were used to develop the cell line Mo, without his knowledge, after he received treatment for cancer. Students compare this story to that of Henrietta Lacks through text analysis. After reading, students learn about the concept of perspective and continue with their pre-searches.
