Description
In this lesson, students consider the full texts of Marlowe’s “The Passionate Shepherd to His Love” and Raleigh’s “The Nymph’s Reply to the Shepherd.” Students develop an understanding of the relationship between the central ideas of these two poems in preparation for the End-of-Unit Assessment as they discuss the texts both in small groups and as a whole class.
